About Long Cove Club

Since its inception in the early 1980’s, Long Cove Club has been recognized as the standard by which single-family, private, secure residential golf course communities are measured on Hilton Head Island. Small by design with just over 600 acres of incomparable natural beauty and casual elegance.

Long Cove is located on the Southern end of Hilton Head Island along Broad Creek. It’s nestled between Wexford and Shelter Cove Harbour.

Long Cove’s crown jewel is the exclusive 18-hole championship golf course designed by Pete Dye. The golf course, a par 71, is a top-ranked course in South Carolina and for more than 30 years has been ranked in the Top 100 nationally by Golf Digest. It’s bordered by literally hundreds of moss-draped live oaks, pines, and magnolia trees. This course is not just a renowned playing field for the game of golf; it’s a work of art.

Along Long Cove Club's fairways and lagoons, you’ll find 575 home sites. Long Cove homes are spacious and luxurious. You’ll see yourself at home here, relaxing on a wrap-around porch, in the Summer kitchens, or seated at one of many fireplaces. Many Long Cove homes have fantastic golf and water views.

Sunsets at Long Cove are spectacular. You’ll find that watching the glowing sun setting over the marsh a perfect end to another day relaxing in paradise. And with that, an evening of entertaining at the Long Cove Club or a night out at Hilton Head’s many restaurants and attractions.

Beyond golf, there’s the beautiful clubhouse, the marina with dozens of complimentary slips for boats and kayaks, first-class tennis, biking and walking paths, a junior Olympic-sized pool, and a “farm” area with complimentary member plots with irrigation provided. Fishing? You can fish in one of the many lagoons, crab from the end of the marina docks, or take your boat out for sound or deep-sea fishing. And what about dogs? Long Cove Club is Hilton Head’s only private community featuring a dog park. One acre fenced, continuous-fill water bowls, benches, and there is even a specific area especially for small dogs.

And, of course, you’re still in the heart of Hilton Head Island, so you’re just a short distance from the beaches, shopping, restaurants, and everything else the Island has to offer.
