Whether you are 5 years old or 95 years old, Hilton Head offers fun activities for the entire family. The list below includes a few of the activities every kid should enjoy while on Hilton Head Island.

Pirates Of Hilton Head
Pirates of Hilton Head is known to many as the #1 kid’s attraction on the island. As soon as you arrive, you receive a pirate name and begin the transformation into a pirate crew in search of treasure. Once on the ship, The Black Dagger, the race is on to find the sunken treasure chest of the Calibogue Sound. Unfortunately, Stinky Pete, the islands smelliest pirate, knows about the treasure too and has stolen the key to the chest. Once you find Stinky Pete, the new crew has to

Palmetto Bluff_Bluffton_Hilton Head_Real Estate_McVey Team_Dunes Real Estate

Another stunning property is being developed in Palmetto Bluff called Moreland Village. This village is situated along the shores of Cauley’s Creek which adjoins the May River to the north. You can enjoy expansive marsh views over the creek that extends to distant views all the way to Daufuskie Island. Steps inland from the shores of the marsh you will find Lake Bales named after Charlie Bales the former Wildlife Manager for Palmetto Bluff.

Within this village destination, there are many points of interest for residents and visitors. The Boundary is the social hall in Moreland Village and it offers dining, a four-lane bowling alley, game room, marsh front family pool, an adult lap pool, fitness center, The Art Loft and a multi-story treehouse.

Palmetto Dunes_Live Oak Trees_Hilton Head Island_Dunes Real Estate
As I drive on Queens Folly Road in Palmetto Dunes, it's hard not to notice all of the changes and improvements to the road and open space in such a short period of time.  The area where huge live oak trees that were destroyed by Matthew has been cleaned up and new live oaks have been planted.  The area now features live oaks, along with Palmetto and Palm trees, new sod and lush landscaping.

If you had seen the area right after the storm, you would not image the time, planning and work hours that have gone into rebuilding the area.  The area is now beautiful once again, ready for the enjoyment and the enhancement of vacations, second home ownership, permanent residents, employees, and first-time visitors to Palmetto Dunes Resort.  It was heart-breaking and

The famous red and white striped lighthouse which is a familiar backdrop for Harbour Town, a PGA landmark, is just the gateway to the rich diversity and variety of golf that there is to be played in Hilton Head. There are numerous golf courses to choose from, ranging from excellent, high-quality, world-famous courses to the more affordable and less well-known ones. With such a wide choice, which golf course should you be choosing?

Hilton Head Restaurants_Pisces_Mark Lynch
One of my all-time favorite restaurants on Hilton Head, Hugo’s Seafood & Steakhouse has gone out of business and shut its doors. However, its legacy lives on in the new restaurant, Pisces, that has opened in the same location.  Sergio Zumaya, the former head chef at Hugo’s Seafood & Steakhouse, is one of the new co-owners.

After a complete remodel, Pisces is now open Monday – Saturday from 4:00 – 10:00 pm and features nightly specials of local, fresh seafood and steak and sushi.  Happy Hour and Early Bird Specials are 4:00 – 6:00 pm.  Pisces has an extensive wine collection, and if you were a fan of Hugo’s flambé desserts, you will be happy to know they are still being served at Pisces.

Just a little bit of trivia - the name Pisces comes from a restaurant
